Biolab Participates in First Medical International Conference on Thalassemia, Hemophilia and Sickle Cell Anemia

Biolab – the Kingdom’s leading accredited diagnostic laboratory, offering more than 700 medical diagnostic services across itsbranches – participated in the First Medical, International Conference on Thalassemia, Hemophilia and Sickle Cell Anemia held on September 14^th and 15^th, 2017. The conference was held under the patronage of Minister of Health, Prof. Mahmoud Al Shayyab and was organized by the Thalassemia and Hemophilia Center at Al Basheer Hospital in partnership with the Jordanian Society for Thalassemia and Hemophilia and in cooperation with the World Federation of Hemophilia. The conference was held at Landmark Hotel – Amman.

Biolab participated through an educational booth, whereby promotional and educational materials related to those diseases were disseminated among participants. The conference included submission of scientific papers and lectures that presented various topics pertaining Thalassemia, Hemophilia and Sickle Cell Anemia and their complications. In addition, the conference highlighted the latest updates and scientific development in this area.
