The Oklahoma City Police Department says its patrol officers and Special Projects Unit seized approximately three pounds of fentanyl.

The seizure came after officials received a report from someone about a suspicious package.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the deadly nature of fentanyl which is a dangerous synthetic opioid that is 100-times more potent than morphine. - OKCPD
