He serves as Clinical Associate Professor at Rosalind Franklin University Chicago Medical School and is the Founder and Director of the Center for Medical Dermatology and Immunology Research in Chicago, Illinois. With a robust background in cutaneous immunology and inflammatory disease, Dr. Chovatiya is highly regarded as a clinician, educator, and researcher.
Dr. Chovatiya’s career includes a distinguished academic foundation, having earned his MD and PhD in immunology from Yale University. He further honed his expertise through residency, a postdoctoral research fellowship, and a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation at Northwestern University, where he also served as Chief Resident. His work is focused on optimizing patient-centered care, addressing chronic disease burdens, and improving dermatological outcomes across diverse skin types.
